A major confusion on my site is predictive search. It really useful if the user wants to search the whole site, but if not then it confuses the hell out of them. What happens is this:
They intent to search only a specific forum/category in a specific content type. XF has such options visible when they start typing. Then the predictive search overlay covers all options and no longer gives them the opportunity to search where they wanted to search. So they give up, or select one of the suggestions or just hit 'search for ...' and end up with a mass of results site wide.
It would be mighty useful and avoid all this confusion if there would be 3 tickboxes at the bottom of the predictive search overlay:

- titles only
