How do I endable Conversation Prefixes, inbox tabs, etc

I have been studying this for about two days now and I cannot figure out how to enable the prefixes and other fancy goods on conversations.

Your pictures on this site show the Conversation header as a link, but on my site it is not. I am running XF1.5 and have installed conversation essentials.
