how to handle alerts and notifications

Hi there,

first of all I love your addons!

My user want to be notified on new replies in a thread, even if they have not read the newest reply. So I bought your great addon "persistent alerts".

Here is my first config.



The email notification works great but now the users are complaining that they have a lot of alerts. So I checked the config and configured it like this.



The descriptions are a little bit confusing for me. I hope now the users will have an email notification on every reply and alerts if they have no unread alerts? Or is this scenario not available?

@developr they should now get alerts as long as they have no unread alerts for that thread. The wording is horrible, but it is exposing a fair amount of tweaking to how alerts function
