Quick questions, possibly stupid. ;)

What does it mean when a registration says "Moderated. Direct rule selection"?

What exactly is "Direct rule selection"?

It means you have a rule which has the score of "moderate" rather than a numerical value. But the accumulated numerical score isn't enough to hit moderate or reject thresholds

On our rejected users, we currently have to go in and delete the users manually. I checked the setting "Do not save users rejected on signup" but the spam users are still listed as a rejected user and I have to go in and manually delete them.

Is there anyway to avoid this?

That's not what happened. Your forums don't have many posts, when I came into the site, I thought this was a pinned post for questions about Signup Abuse & Detection.

On a side note, on my forum. we don't allow users to post vague titles like this. We make them summarize the post or we edit the subject to avoid situations like this.

Based upon the subject of this post, one could certainly argue I posted in the correct place because its a question about signup and abuse detection.
