Currently the addon is permissions for a group per forum. This is not optimal as it creates considerable server load or only a few users can use.
Please provide the ability to make a live thread.
Usergroup should be given permission and a thread should be able to be assigned live. This is most useful for sporting events and other major events where forum focus shifts to a singular thread and topic.
Additional request that were featured in xf1 live thread add ons would be the ability to have a thread turn itself NOT LIVE after a period of no new activities. Poll for an hour with new posts? Stop pinging the server for refreshes. This limits server load. Likewise, a timer to start live threads would be most useful for scheduled event forums (sports, races, etc.)
